Seeking leave to pass a resolution declaring the intention of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Oxford to issue a Combined Tax Bond for water and sewer for the said City, to issue a Tax Bond of the said town for sale to MS Development Bank or to enter into a loan with MS Development Bank, all in an aggregate principal amount not exceeding four million ($4,000,000.00) for the purpose of acquire, construct, enlarge, improve, repair and/or extend the combined water and sewer system of the said City; and for related purposes. Seeking authority to pass a resolution hiring required legal counsel and an independent registered alderman in connection with the sale and issuance by the City of Oxford, Mississippi, of either of combined tax liabilities for systems of of said city’s water and sewer, either a tax bond of said city for sale to MS Development Bank or execution and delivery of documents necessary to secure a loan from MS Development Bank, all for an aggregate principal amount not to exceed four million dollars ($4,000,000.00); and for related purposes.
